@13nova no I relocated to Florida back in December to be with my family and for work. I had originally wanted to see if I could get people together for a going away thing but mental health got in the way (which is why I also unfortunately missed Ben Roberts' funeral). Hopefully next time I'm back up that way I'll feel up to meeting up with people.
I just remember someone once telling me that Copy Artifact didn't count as an artifact for Tolarian Academy. Sorry for my ignorance. On a different sidenote, playing green also gives you access to Tranquility, a much underused card in Old School.
It's also good they're reprinting horizon canopy because it should bring the price down a bit which is good for how high it's gotten as of late.
On another note, though it isn't playable I love they're reprinting glimpse the unthinkable. I've always loved the card, the ability is cool, the art is awesome. Just all around enjoy it. Always a fun card to play with casually.
My current library for kids is:
Crash Bandicoot - the new release, which is too hard for the kids to play through but they still enjoy it.
Ratchet & Clank - Also came with the console but we haven't opened it because of the guns and shooting. It can wait 1-2 years.
Minecraft - Kids love it and I can play it with them with another controller. The smaller kids need a lot of help.
FIFA18 is preordered.
For me I have:
South Park preordered
good luck to you. I'm at the opposite end as I have one class left for my degree after taking a 20+ year "break". I was working full time as well and I found it to be manageable but you are right, there is not a lot of extra time.
@Smmenen the reason why you cannot find any historical lists with basalt monolith and power artifact is because basalt monolith recieved power level erratta that said mana from basalt monolith could not be used to untap basalt monolith.
It was designed to stop combo decks that were using goblin rocket launcher if I am remembering my 23 year old combo decks correctly. They were blue black decks being used right before legends was released.
I'm really late to this party but I am attorney myself and wanted to say congrats! It's a long road ahead but the LSAT is a big step out of the way. Stay confident and work as hard as you can in law school if pays off in the long run!
I went 6-2 in 2012 with RUG Delver at Champs.
I went 1-2 Drop in 2012 at NYSE with BUG Vault
I went 5-3 in 2013 with Doomsday at Champs.
I went 0-2 Drop in 2013 at NYSE with (I can't even remeber)
I went 2-2 Drop in 2014 with 4 Color Control.
I went 2-2 Drop in 2015 with 4 Color Control.
I went 0-2 Drop after a bye in 2016 with Paradoxical Control.
I've 0-2 Dropped, 0-2 Dropped, 4-2 for 16th, and 5-1 for 5th in Power 9 championships.
I used to win everything - then I started losing a lot. The cards (Mistep, Flusterstorm, Mentor, Revoker+Friends, Paradox) Make this format much more forgiving than it used to be.
Bottom line, you could have the IQ of a shoe and still win games. That's something that wasn't true until 2008 when Time Vault was errata'd.
