      You know guys if we just unrestricted everything, I can promise you, for a complete 100% fact, that Mentor, nor Gush would even see play, let alone be a problem. Free the cards.

        @Serracollector

        Uhhh gush for sure would see play as it was the engine for 2 of the most degenerate decks if I recall
        Correctly.

        Flash Gush Scroll are all kind of silly.

          In a non restricted format who would play lands? Are u serious?

          // 60 Maindeck
          // 24 Artifact
          4 Mox Sapphire
          4 Mox Opal
          4 Mox Jet
          4 Mana Crypt
          4 Black Lotus
          4 Goblin Charbelcher

          // 4 Enchantment
          4 Leyline of Anticipation

          // 8 Instant
          4 Dark Ritual
          4 Ancestral Recall

          // 24 Sorcery
          4 Demonic Tutor
          4 Contract from Below
          4 Tinker
          4 Tendrils of Agony
          4 Timetwister
          4 Gitaxian Probe

          By all means play 4 Gush, 4 Flash, 4 Merchant Scroll, and 4 Fastbond, GL getting 2 islands in play. SMH

            In a completely unrestricted format, everyone would play 4x maindeck Stony Silence.
            And then everyone would be forced to play lands. I'm not sure what the above list is supposed to prove, that you can make a really quick deck that loses on the spot to a single Force of Will?

              Your absolutely joking right? A deck with 4 FoW, 4 MM,and 4 Mindbreak Trap would have trouble stopping that.

                The whole idea is to avoid die rolls and opening hands deciding things. Not go charging towards it. The unrestristed deck would get boring after aftet 10 goldfish games.
