There is a massive transportation strike going on in France, be sure to double check that your means of reaching the event are stil valid.

We have some Vueling strikes in Spain going on planned for Wednesday and Thursday next week (precisely when people are flying to EW)

I'm French : here's how it will go :
No strikes the 5th and 6th.
On the 4th : depending on the RER line you might take you could see slowdown of one train out 2, 1 / 3, 2 /3. If you were to take a plane landing at Charles-de-Gaulle airport you'd take the RER B which would for the first part be on 1 train out of 2, then things would improve if you were to go at the EW site (but only trials that day).

After that no strike until the 8th. All that is scheduled, two consecutive days per week (you can see a calendar there : http://www.lemonde.fr/les-decodeurs/article/2018/04/05/calendrier-des-greves-annoncees-dans-les-transports_5281011_4355770.html )
