8 players competed in Vintage at Brash today and as per usual, the decks get weirder and weirder.

Standings:

  1. Adam Smothers - Controlling Storm
  2. Elijah Henly - Ravager Shops
  3. Tim Everett - Merfolk
  4. Tri Nguyen - Xerox
  5. Nick Patniyot - Omni-Tell
  6. Adam Dean - Bargain Storm
  7. Ben Kendrick - Blue Moon
  8. Will Miertschin - Izzet Welder?

Pics:

Jokulhaups is apparently a Vintage staple now.

Somehow, Onmitell is doing less than its opponent?

Fun is a zero sum game. Adam has therefore elected to have all of it.

Almost forgot - Thanks to Ben for running this event while I was busy brunching!

@thecravenone Fun is in fact a zero sum game.. I have never won a game before in turn 1 on the play. It felt both good, and bad in a dirty kinda way.

😞 Of course I'll be gone when you're finally able to visit the superior Texas city.

Tim drops and still gets thirds.

The morale of the story is to always quit while you’re ahead.

If winners never quit

And quitters never win

How can you quit while you're ahead?
