3 rakdos is fine. You have a demonic tutor to find one, if you dont draw it by the ton of card drawing, and you have jace to cast them again. If youre afraid to make it until then, theres intuition for loam and strip mine. Theres also Balance to handle bastards.

There should be 1 more fetch and 1 volcanic less in the list also.

I see you have intuition and life of the loam. Why not capitalize on this by running a land toolbox and a Marit lage package.

I don't understand why you are running gush in a deck with 9 islands/fetches that wants to go t1 bazaar?

Your disruption package/sideboard plan seems very light against combo, shops and dredge. How are you boarding in 8 blasts against blue decks when that's supposed to be your good matchup?

Maybe the land idea should be tested. It looks a little slow and requires mana, which the bazaar deck is sorta slow at. But testing would tell. Usually you kill with colos not damage...

Gush is not as great in this deck as others, but it still has its tricks why it stays. You can use it as regular mana boost+against wastelands with a little minus as the opponent usually tries to kill your groves which you cant bounce. The gush lands can go to fayden discard or bazaar.

If theres a ton of workshop you can add more ancient grudges which is a fine card with bazaar and intuition. Theres just no room! You need a lot of blasts against leovold and control in general. Rebs are good right now, always been but stops many key drawing spells anything blue matchup wise paradox, oath mentor etc etc and good with fayden.

assasin's trophy vs leyline void/rest in peace and vs oath, or bazaar dredge. You can use jace with it. Gush is out... while a great card, most people will still waste-target only your groves anyway so you dont get to use it.

So... You maindeck 4 groves but only run 1 Punishing Fire, and it's in the sideboard?

I think you should rely a bit less in the Squee engine. If you get hit by Leyline or Tormod's Crypt or whatever, a whole part of your deck falls apart. You have:

That's 18 slots that are useless under any gy hate, which is very common in the format. I'd tone it down. Take You can take 1 of each of those cards out, get 5 slots for other stuff in the deck.

And yeah, 4 Groves for 1 Fire is a bit too much too, I guess.

EDIT: Also, 8 REB on the side? I don't think that's even a plan. Put some Grudges and Null Rods there and take out 4-5 of those. 🙂

So many green cards and no riftstone portal, and lots of groves and 1 pfire seem awkward at a glance. Portal going to your yard is like wild growthing your bazaars.

The deck attacks the meta on a different axis than other Control decks. Instead of trying to counter the opponent's Paradoxical Outcome, I'd rather Notion Thief them and draw a shit ton of cards. I also designed the deck to be completely Misstep proof, with the exception of 2 Nihil Spellbomb, which can be brought back via Daretti, and Ancestral Recall, because its Ancestral Recall. The removal Suite is pretty solid, especially against Workshops, of course. What are everyone's thoughts on this idea?

Lotus petal for speeding up a turn 1 with jace or fayden, works good with treasure cruise dig delving and jace 5, and balance + a monk, plus better colors for assassin's trophy and overall manabase. Slightly strengthening the sb for dredge matchup with a rav trap to keep up the speed instead of a reb, so you can cast that rakdos charm in the end. Lots of fetches for a delve and jace 5 plus right colors.

I like the deck, seems like a lot of fun. Who doesn't love to draw cards? This deck draws ALOT, i like it.
Can you give more insights about the different MUs? How the deck plays, feels, to you?
Also, wich one is the hardest MU and wich deck you feel is the 'easy win' , if it has any.

Yes. The deck is actually quite good, Im not going to go into game details because it takes far too much writing and effort to do, but it has good matchups vs almost anything, bug matchup can be very interesting but is among the less great ones. Oath can be a bit tough too, but its do-able. It's all dependant on your meta.

Stax matchup is good.

I'm gonna switch back to the previous version to the +1 tundra +1 balance - 1 volcanic island - 1 punishing fire again.

Even if you have dack stealing occasional pearls, always be able to cast Mentor is strong. You already have intuition for the 1 punishing, and balance is good vs dredge but mostly survival. Now Lavinia is coming in so Lotus petal is maybe less hot, but you can reb lavinia. Also so many planeswalkers + squee in yard for a balance. Balance can also be replayed with a jace, and or not graveyard dependant sweeper.
