https://eternalcentral.com/team-serious-middle-school-chaos-draft/

On May 25, 2019 (Memorial Day weekend), eight members of Team Serious gathered in Painesville (Ohio, USA) for a special Middle School “chaos draft,” orchestrated by Paul Blakeley. Planning for this event began in November, so there was a lot of hype built up among the selected participants.

Overview, the Draft Setup
The idea was to have one pack each of Middle School-legal sets, starting with Ice Age and going through Scourge. The draft and tournament would be as usual, playing three rounds, with standings based on record.

Packs! So many packs!

If you're interested in Middle School (or Old School) and are coming to SCG Columbus at the end of July, we're taking signups for off-site events. More details on this signup form.

I forgot you had that list! We mentioned Green Eldrazi on the show but I didn’t have time to brew a list. G/X might work too.

The Vintage some people would enjoy is not the Vintage other people enjoy. I like the current format and would oppose anything this drastic to change it, partly because it would stop feeling like Vintage.

We got Middle School scheduled for Magic Fest Cleveland weekend! There will be a tournament at Mars Bar in Lakewood at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 22.

Mars Bar is a great local bar with beer and gyros, a short ride from the convention center. Even if you can't make it in time it will be a great opportunity to learn about the format and meet people.

Much different, especially since there wasn't Consecrated Sphinx in this one.

Kevin ( @taef ) has been playing variations on this list for years. It's Dredge where the backup plan is ramp mana into the ridiculous. Previous version ran Moat and Dragons to fly over it. I think he couldn't borrow (and didn't proxy) Moats for this one. Probably should have had Lotus too.

I was once playing a match next to Kevin, who was playing against Twaun P. Pwnertown. Twaun did some irrelevant Mud nonsense on his turn, and Kevin ramped into Consecrated Sphinx on turn one. Twaun just sighed and said, "Well, I guess I lose!"
