@smmenen If what you say is true, and you're you so I'm inclined to believe that it is, then there is a huge disconnect between the Leagues and the Challenges. The Leagues are just saturated with Outcome decks.

RE: Enchantress Viability?
It's not bad at all, but it kinda falters without it's engine (as expected). I put in some work into the deck before the Gush restriction by pairing the Enchantress engine with Mystic Remora ending in a Solitary Confinement lock. I did not play the usual suspects of Utopia Sprawl etc, because I wanted to play 3 colours and not be punished by Wasteland turned into a 2 or 3 for 1.
Also, Mental Misstep is a Thing.
I don't think this really matters. Once your Enchantress engine is online (which cannot be stopped by anything but FoW really), you can trade cards for Misstep since you're drawing for every enchantment you play. In the version I was testing, outside of Remora I did not play any other cards that had a mana cost of 1 which I cared about resolving that much.
If I were you, addressing the deck's consistency issues would be the first step. The deck's gameplan itself is very powerful and Vintage decks don't run enough answers to enchantments so you attack the metagame is a very different way.
It does matter when you're trying to lay the groundwork, and your bricks all fold to Misstep (e.g. Wild Growth, Utopia Sprawl).
You're correct in that once you're established, you don't really care about it. But until then, it's very much a nuisance.
RE: Best Dredge deck to build for testing?
I've noticed a significant increase in Paradoxical Outcome decks, which I take to mean I either need to be faster (e.g. Fatestitcher Dredge) or I need more discard (e.g. Unmask Dredge)
I'll be pretty busy for the next few weeks, and won't have much time to play. But that's probably where I would start if I was about to get into the swing of things.
Life from the Loam in Dredge
I think we can all agree that the MVP of this week's Vintage Super League was Life from the Loam, with help from Riftstone Portal. Now I've used Riftstone Portal here and there, depending on what my SB looks like. Like, if I'm running Serenity and/or Abrupt Decay, I'm probably also running Riftstone Portal. But Life from the Loam has been curiously absent from Vintage Dredge at large, and I've never really understood why.
Did CFB happen to stumble on to something, and we should be testing this out? Or was this the result of a very specific metagame, and ultimately doesn't mean a thing?
Let me know your thoughts!
